The death of this legend shook not only the basketball world but the entire world. Kobe Bryant- a beloved player from the professional league Lakers passed away on the 26th of January,2020. The Shoe Factory pays tribute to this amazing player.

The son of former NBA player Joe Bryant, Kobe had earned the reputation of a star when he was drafted to the NBA in 1996 right out of high-school. As a rookie, he became the youngest player to ever play in the NBA at the age of 18. He also went on to become the youngest player to win in the Slam Dunk Contest of '97. Bryant redefined signature sneakers by experimenting with different themes and elements. Growing up in Italy, he was inspired by soccer cleats and wanted to bring that sleekness and low-cut profile to basketball shoes. His demise, along with his 13-year old daughter and 7 others happened when the helicopter carrying them crashed into a fog-covered hillside near Calabasas, California while they were on the way to a youth basketball tournament. 

Death is unpredictable but the death of people like Kobe happens we are all left to wonder that why does death take away such good people.

Bryant has left us now, but his legacy will continue to live on forever.
